Understanding staff account permissions in Imagine Math 3+

Staff accounts can be one of four types: District Administrator, Customer Administrator, School Administrator, or Teacher. Each account type has different permissions. This chart shows which permissions are unique to each account type, which permissions are shared, and any restrictions in how those permissions are applied.

Managing teacher accounts

Self-roster accounts and groups through bulk import District Administrators and Customer Administrators can import data for staff and student accounts and groups; Teachers can import data for student accounts and groups they are assigned to.
Set up a teacher account for the first time        
Add multiple teacher accounts   All Administrator accounts can only be added individually.
Add teacher accounts individually   School Administrators can add other School Administrators, but they can't edit or deactivate those accounts. 
Assign and unassign teachers and classes    District Administrators and Customer  Administrators can assign or unassign one or more classes to a teacher, or assign or unassign one or more teachers to a class. School Administrators can only assign and unassign teachers within their school. 
Edit teacher account information All Administrators can edit the information for any teacher account; Teachers can only edit the information for their own account.

Activate and deactivate teacher accounts

  District Administrators and Customer Administrators can activate or deactivate any teacher accounts; School Administrators can activate and deactivate teacher accounts that are assigned to their school.

Move students between classes, teachers, and schools  District Administrators and Customer Administrators can move students between schools, teachers, and classes; School Administrators can only move students between the teachers and classes in their school; Teachers can only move students between their assigned classes.
Print start cards for individual students District Administrators and Customer Administrators can print start cards for any student in their district; School Administrators can print start cards for any student in their school; Teachers can print start cards for any student assigned to them.

    School Administrators can assign/unassign Benchmark Tests for students in their school; Teachers can only assign/unassign Benchmark Tests for students assigned to them.
Reassign Benchmark 1 Test     School Administrators can reassign Benchmark 1 Test for students in their school; Teachers can only reassign Benchmark 1 Test for students assigned to them.
Invalidate Benchmark 2 and 3 Tests     School Administrators can invalidate Benchmark 2 and 3 Tests for students in their school; Teachers can only invalidate Benchmark 2 and 3 Tests for students assigned to them.
