Allowing or restricting teachers' creation of student accounts in the Imagine Math suite


This article applies to Imagine Math and Imagine Math Facts.

As a District Administrator, you can prevent teachers from creating student accounts for all schools in your district. This feature is handy if a Student Information System (SIS) is used to manage educators, students, and classes for all schools in your district, or if you want only administrators to be able to add student accounts.

To allow or prohibit teachers' creation of student accounts: 

  1. Log in to the Imagine Math suite.
  2. Click District Settings under Quick Links on your dashboard.
  3. Check or uncheck Allow teachers to create student accounts, as appropriate, and then click Save.
    Unchecked -- prevents teachers from creating student accounts.
    Checked (default) -- allows teachers to create student accounts.
