Activating/deactivating educator accounts in the Imagine Math suite

This article applies to Imagine Math and Imagine Math Facts.

Administrators can activate or deactivate the accounts of educators at a lower level in their assigned organization. For example, a district administrator can change the activation status of a school administrator or teacher, but not other district administrator accounts.

Teachers do not have permission to activate or deactivate educator accounts.

Activating an account allows the educator to log into the Imagine Math suite; deactivating an account prevents them from logging in.  Caution

If you see Managed by SIS next to educator accounts, this means your organization uses a Student Information System integration tool to manage educator accounts. To update information for these accounts, contact your IT staff.

To activate or deactivate an educator account:

  1. Log in to the Math portal.
  2. Click Management > Educators in the left navigation pane.
  3. If necessary, use the filters or search box to find the educator whose account you wish to update.

    • Choose Inactive from the Active drop-down list to find an inactive educator account.
    • You can further narrow your search by choosing a specific role from the Role drop-down list. Depending on your role, you may see Customer Admin, District Admin, School Admin, and Teacher roles in the drop-down list.
  4. To activate an account:
    • Click Activate by the applicable educator.

    • Click OK to confirm that you want to activate the account.
    • Receive a confirmation at the top of the page.
  5. To deactivate an account:
    • Click Deactivate by the applicable educator.

    • Click OK to confirm that you want to deactivate the account.
    • Receive a confirmation at the top of the page.
