Previewing lessons in the Assignment Builder in Imagine MyPath

 Important update

Starting with the 2025–26 school year, formatives will no longer be available within Imagine MyPath. Instead, all formatives will be accessed exclusively through Imagine+ Formatives in the new Imagine+ Assessment product. MyPath customers from the 2024–25 school year who used formatives will receive complimentary access to Imagine+ Assessment, ensuring continued use of formatives for assessment and instructional planning. The process for assigning and reporting on formatives will remain familiar, but access will occur through the Imagine+ Assessment platform.

Learn more about this transition or explore the Imagine+ Assessment Help Center.

This table describes the available filters and their options.
    Filter Description
Subject This is the subject of the content you are searching for. Lessons are available in Math, Reading, Science, and Purpose, depending on what your school or district purchased.
Enrolled Grade This is the rostered grade level of your students. Lessons are available for Grades K-12.
Lesson Skill Level Choose to see lessons that are Below, On, or Above your students' rostered grade level.
Appropriate For This filter helps you find lessons that are developmentally appropriate for your students. The available grade bands are K–2, 3–5, 6–12, and 3–12. When you select a student grade from 3–5, your search results will include lessons from both the 3–5 and 3–12 grade bands. Similarly, when you select a student grade from 6–12, your results will include lessons from both the 6–12 and 3–12 bands. Your initial Student Grade selection determines the grade band to start, but you can choose other grade bands if you wish.
Lesson Type Lessons are categorized as either Instruction or Practice. Most lessons are the Instruction type. Practice lessons are a great supplement to whole-class instruction. While the skills covered in Practice lessons are typically taught in Grades K–3, they can be assigned to students in any grade who may need reinforcement or remediation on these foundational concepts.
  6. Review the lesson details on the search results page. The borders around the lessons are color-coded to indicate whether their skill level is Below (yellow), On (blue), or Above (green) grade level.
