Bulk-assigning the Math Builder pathway in Imagine+ Math

In Imagine+ Math, all K–5 students are initially placed in the Math Mastery pathway, but District and School Administrators may wish to proactively assign the Math Builder pathway before assessment data is available to generate placement recommendations. This can be especially helpful for targeted groups of students identified for intervention, enrichment, or other support and offers flexibility to address diverse learning needs. This article focuses on when and how to bulk-assign the Math-Builder pathway.

To bulk-assign the Math Builder pathway:

During the Imagine+ Math Beta, access the program using the MyPath Math tile in the Product Portal. The Imagine+ Math tile will be available next school year.

  1. Log in to the Product Portal and select the MyPath Math tile.
  2. Select a class.
  3. Click Student Placement in the top navigation.

  4. Refer to the Path Type column to identify students with only the Mastery Path assigned.

  5. Select students you'd like to assign placements to by A. checking boxes individually or B. using the box in the top left to select everyone on the page.

  6. After selecting your students, click Bulk Actions and select Add Placement.

  7. In the Bulk Action modal, select the appropriate Grade and choose Math Builder pathway. Only one grade can be selected at a time.

     Caution

    If selected students already have an assigned Builder learning path, this will override existing placements (if the new placement grade is different) and reset their learning paths.

  8. Click Next to review and confirm your selections.

  9. Click Update to apply the assignments.

  10. A confirmation that the placements were added appears at the bottom of the page.

Note

  • If you want students who receive the bulk-assigned Builder Path to only have one active learning path, you may deactivate their previously assigned Mastery Path using the Change Pathway Status option under the Bulk Action menu.   • Lock Placement and Enable Content Bridge settings can be managed individually for each student's learning path. For more information, see Managing a student's learning path settings.

What happens after assigning the Builder pathway?

  • Students have access to a complete Builder pathway.
  • Placement assignments and changes are recorded in each student's Student Progress report.
