Administrators and Teachers can deactivate the learning path of a student on the Student Placement page. Deactivating a student's learning path will remove that subject tile from their Product Portal home page.
Note
If you need to hide an Imagine+ Math learning path from a student but still view its progress and usage data in educator reports, pause the learning path instead. Paused learning paths remain visible in educator reports, while deactivated learning paths are excluded from reports. Learn how to pause a student's learning path.
To deactivate a student's learning path:
- Log in to the Product Portal and select the desired product.
- Select a class.
- Click Student Placement in the upper navigation.
- Select more options (
) for the student, then click Deactivate Learning Path.
- On the popup that appears, click Yes to confirm.
What happens after deactivation?
Deactivating a student's learning path will have the following effects on reports:
- Class Summary: The student's name displays with an icon indicating that no learning path is available
- Class Progress: The student's name is not displayed
- Student Profile: The subject of the deactivated learning path is not listed
- Student Progress: The message No Learning Path Assigned appears
- Usage Report: The student's name appears but has a learning path status of Inactive
- Student Placement: In the Overall Placement column, it will say Deactivated
