Administrators and Teachers can use the Item Analysis report to view the percentage of students who correctly answered each test item. They can also view a breakdown of student responses for each test item and answer choice, and the percentage of students who correctly answered each item.
To view an Item Analysis Report
- Log in to Imagine Galileo.
- Click Reports > Test Properties > Item Analysis.
- Choose Default or Intervention Group.
- Choose the Item Analysis, Distractor Analysis, or Detailed Analysis Report. Use the table below to determine the report to run.
Term/Field Description Item Analysis Item Analysis provides the percentage of students who correctly answered each item.
Distractor Analysis Distractor Analysis provides a breakdown of student responses for each test item and answer choice. Detailed Analysis Detailed Analysis provides the percentage of students who correctly answered each item, a breakdown of student responses for each answer choice as well as the breakdown of student responses by percentile rank, and drill-downs to additional information, such as student-level information.

Administrators or other district- or school-level users who selected Default, use the School/Class drop-down lists to select the applicable schools and classes to run a report. Teachers, skip to step 6.
If you selected Intervention Group, select the applicable Library and Intervention Group to run a report.
- Use the Library and Test drop-down lists to select the applicable library and test to run a report.
- (Optional) Select the applicable Student Information Filters to add to the report.
- Click Run Report.

An Item Analysis report shows the Curriculum Strand and Standards assessed on the test. The report also shows the number of test items and the percentage of correct answers submitted for each test item.
