The Math Time section of the Usage report provides class-level averages and individual student totals for time spent using Imagine Math 3+ at home, at school, and in both places combined.
Caution
This portion of the Usage report only applies to students in Grade 3 and up.
Administrators and Teachers can view Math Time reports for all classrooms and all active students assigned to them. Students must have answered at least one math problem in Imagine Math 3+ in order to be counted as active.
The Math Time report updates hourly.
How Math Time is calculated in Imagine Math 3+:
Math Time accumulates when a student is actively working on a lesson or Benchmark Test. It's tracked using an internal timer that begins when the problem or question is presented to the student. Once the student has completed the exercise and clicked Next, Imagine Math 3+ records the time and resets the internal timer, which continues to track Math Time until the student exits Imagine Math or until they have been idle for 10 minutes.
Notes
If a student is working on an exercise and does not complete it before logging out of Imagine Math, the time they spent on this problem or question will not be added to their Total Math Time.
Any time that students spend on the Home tab, redeeming THINK Points, or loading a math problem or test question does not count towards their Total Math Time.
