Changing an educator's role in the Imagine Math suite


This article applies to Imagine Math and Imagine Math Facts.

In some cases, Administrators can change the role of an educator from a teacher to an administrator or vice versa. This is done by deactivating the educator's current account and then adding a new account with their new role.


If you see Managed by SIS next to educator accounts, this means your organization uses a Student Information System integration tool to manage accounts. While administrators may be added from within the Imagine Math portal, teacher accounts may not. Contact your district's IT staff for help adding teacher accounts via the file synchronization process.

To change the role of an educator:

  1. Log in to the Imagine Math suite.
  2. Deactivate the educator's existing account with the role that is no longer applicable.
  3. Add a new educator account with the new role.
