Your role determines which schedules and reports you can access in Imagine+ Assessment. This article explains the permissions for District Administrators (DAs), School Administrators (SAs), and Teachers.
Role overview

| District Administrator (DA) | Full district-wide access to data and the ability to view and edit all schedules for all sites. |
| School Administrator (SA) | Access to schedules and data for assigned schools. Some edits to DA-created schedules may create a new school-owned schedule. |
| Teacher | View-only access for assigned classes. Cannot create, edit, or delete schedules for Imagine+ Diagnostic, Screener, or Benchmark assessments. |
Key permissions
District Administrators (DAs)
- Scheduling: Create assessment schedules for any school, class, or student in your district.
- Editing: Modify start and end dates, assigned students, or notes for any schedule in your district, whether a DA or SA created it. See Schedule restrictions for limits based on schedule status.
- Deleting: Delete only schedules you created that have an Upcoming status.
- Reporting: View data for all assessment types across your district.
School Administrators (SAs)
- Scheduling: Create assessment schedules for any class or student at your assigned schools.
- Editing: Modify start and end dates, assigned students, or notes for schedules at your assigned schools, whether a DA or SA created them. See Schedule restrictions for limits based on schedule status.
- Deleting: Delete only schedules you created that have an Upcoming status.
- Reporting: View data for all assessment types at your assigned schools.
Note
When you change the dates or test window of a DA-created schedule as an SA, the system creates a new school-specific schedule under your name. If you only update students at your assigned schools without changing the dates or test window, the schedule may remain district-owned.
Teachers
- View-only access: View schedules and reports for your assigned classes and students. You cannot create, edit, or delete schedules for Imagine+ Diagnostic, Screener, or Benchmark assessments.

If the person who created a schedule no longer works at your district or school and the schedule is not In Progress, contact Imagine Learning Support for assistance. For deletion instructions, see Deleting assessment schedules in Imagine+ Assessment.
Schedule restrictions
- Upcoming schedules: Administrators can edit start and end dates and student lists.
- In Progress schedules: Administrators can change only the end date.
Important
You cannot remove students who have started testing from In Progress assessments.
