Data in Imagine Language & Literacy and Imagine Español displays based on the dates set for your school year. Each school's dates default to match the parent organization's dates, meaning that schools automatically inherit the dates set at the district level. However, these dates can be changed at both the district level or a school-by-school basis.
School Administrators can customize the school year start and end dates for your assigned school. District Administrators can set a date that all schools will inherit and then update individual schools with custom dates if necessary. The default parent organization school year dates are August 1st to June 30th.
Only student data generated within the start and end dates displays in most reports, so edit the dates to match your school year. Otherwise, data intentionally kept behind the scenes will seem to be missing because educators will be unable to view it.
If your organization is using is using both Imagine Language & Literacy and Imagine Español, changing the start and end date in one product changes it for both products. After the update, it may take up to 24 hours for your reports to populate with the correct data.
- Log in to Imagine Language & Literacy or Imagine Español.
- If you are assigned to more than one organization: Navigate to the dashboard of the organization whose school year dates you wish to change.
- Click the drop-down arrow next to the gear icon in the upper right-hand corner of your screen and choose School Year.
- Enter a custom school year Start Date and End Date, or choose to inherit the dates from the parent organization (usually the district).
- Click Save.
