Bulk-assigning student placement grades in Imagine MyPath

In Imagine MyPath, District and School Administrators can bulk-assign placement grades to students on the Student Placement page. A student's overall placement grade determines the grade-level content that gets assigned to them in their learning path. Use this method if you will not be administering the MyPath Assessment and you do not have an assessment integration with NWEA or Renaissance.

 Note

This article only applies to MyPath Math and Reading. Placements are automatically assigned to students who are using Imagine Purpose and Science Corner. In those programs, students are assigned a placement equal to their rostered grade level.

To bulk-assign student placements:

  1. Log in to the Imagine MyPath suite.
  2. School Administrators with access to 1 school: Go to the Users page and select Student Placement.
Administrators with access to multiple schools: Select a school on your Schools page, then go to the Users page and select Student Placement

  3. Use the filters to isolate students in a specific grade level and/or identify students who do not have a placement. Click Filters to access the filters menu.

You can only bulk-assign one placement grade at a time, which allows you to assign the same placement grade to an entire grade level at once. Use the Grade Level filter to isolate students in a specific grade.
