One component of Imagine Math 3+'s motivational strategy is the leaderboard. The leaderboard is located on the Home page for educators and displays leaders in lessons passed and THINK Points earned.
Teachers can view leaderboard information only for their assigned classrooms. School Administrators can view information for all classes in their school, and District Administrators can view data for all schools in their district.
The leaderboard updates every 15 to 30 minutes.
Notes
- Students have their own version of a leaderboard.
- For both educators and students, leaderboards apply only to Imagine Math 3+ students; Imagine Math PreK–2 students are not included.
- For Imagine Math 3+ students, the leaderboard can be turned off at a customer/district level by having a District Administrator or your district's Imagine Learning Customer Success Manager (CSM) contact Imagine Learning Product Support. This cannot be done for individual classrooms.
The Lessons Passed portion of the Leaderboards section of the Home page is a cumulative total of lessons passed year-to-date (YTD). For teachers, individual students will be listed. For School Administrators, classes will be listed, and for District Administrators, schools will be listed.
The Think Points portion of the Leaderboards section of the Home page resets every Saturday evening (Sunday, 12:00am UTC). It displays only the number of THINK Points each student, class, or school (depending on your role) has earned for the current week. Resetting weekly gives students a fresh chance to be at the top of the Points leaderboard each week rather than allowing one student, class, or school to continually dominate the board. Please note that students will still keep their points to spend and/or donate from week-to-week.
