Caution
Enabling the fully accessible version of Imagine Language & Literacy (IL&L) should only be done for students with sight and hearing impairments who require more intensive accommodations than the student-controlled accommodation features in the menus of the standard version of the program.
Students enrolled in the fully accessible version of IL&L receive rigorous instruction in the foundational curriculum areas of Literacy, Vocabulary, and Grammar. However, the content is presented in a simplified manner. Unlike in the standard version, students in the fully accessible version do not have a gamified experience, do not earn Booster Bits for completing activities, and do not take the Embedded Assessments throughout the year, even if they are your organization's chosen assessment provider.
Instead, students work through sequential grade-level content based on their rostered grade. The first time they log in, they see the first lesson corresponding to their grade level.
Note
Most articles in the Imagine Language & Literacy Help Center do not apply to students using the fully accessible version. For example, student screens will look entirely different, as shown in this article.
