Enabling or disabling the Benchmark Test and Reading Level Assessment

Changing test enablement settings means that you can enable or disable the Benchmark Test or Reading Level Assessment for all test windows, some test windows, or none of the test windows. District Administrators can change the test enablement settings for all schools in their district. School Administrators can only change the enablement settings for their school.  Teachers do not have permissions to change test enablement settings.

By default, for all test windows, the Benchmark Test is enabled and the Reading Level Assessment is disabled. District or School Administrators can change the enablement settings for the Begining-of-the-Year, Middle-of-Year, and End-of-Year Benchmark Test and Reading Level Assessment.

 Note

All new students take the Placement Test to place them in Imagine Language & Literacy. All returning students take the Beginning-of-Year Benchmark Test.

 Recommendation

Imagine Learning strongly recommends that you enable all Benchmark Tests for all three test windows. Benchmark Test scores help to measure student growth throughout the year.
