As a Customer Administrator or District Administrator, you can activate an inactive school or deactivate an active school. Activating a school makes it visible to your educators and students. Deactivating a school hides it from your educators and students, and also deactivates their accounts and all classes in the school. Activating a deactivated school doesn't automatically activate educators, students, and classrooms; they will need to be manually activated.
Caution
To deactivate a school that is Managed by SIS, simply stop sharing any data for that school with Imagine Learning. Schools managed by SIS do not have the Edit or Import links.
To activate an inactive school:
- Log in to the Imagine Math suite.
- In the Management section of the left navigation pane, select Schools.
- Select Inactive in the Show drop-down menu to view the list of deactivated schools.
- Click Edit in the Actions section for the school you want to activate.
- Check the Active checkbox and then click Save.
The school is removed from the Inactive list and added to the Active list.
- Manually reactivate the students, educators, and classrooms for the school.
To deactivate an active school:

Deactivating a school will also deactivate all classes, educators, and students in that school. If the school is reactivated, the classrooms, educators, and students must be reactivated separately.
- Log in to the Imagine Math portal.
- In the Management section of the left navigation pane, select Schools.
- Ensure that Active is selected in the Show drop-down menu, then click Edit in the Actions section for the school you want to deactivate.
- Uncheck the Active checkbox and then click Save. The school is removed from the Active list and added to the Inactive list.

- In the Management section of the left navigation pane, select Organizations.
- Select Schools for the applicable district.
- Select Inactive in the Show drop-down menu to view the list of deactivated schools.
- Click Edit in the Actions section for the school you want to activate.
- Check the Active checkbox and then click Save.
The school is removed from the Inactive list and added to the Active list.
- Manually reactivate the students, educators, and classrooms for the school.
