Teeachers and administrators can preview content and create assignments, but you must have classes associated with your account to assign the assignment to students. Only the educator who assigned the assignment can view student assignment data.

To create a new assignment:

  1. Log in to the Product Portal and select the desired product.
  2. Click Assignment Builder in the left navigation panel. If you have access to multiple schools, you will be prompted to select a school after clicking Assignment Builder.

This table describes the available filters and their options.

    Filter Description
Subject This is the subject of the content you are searching for. Lessons are available in Math, Reading, and Purpose, depending on your organization's licensing.
Enrolled Grade This is the rostered grade level of your students. Grades K-12 are the available options.
Lesson Skill Level Choose to see content that is Below, On, or Above your students' rostered grade level.
Appropriate For This filter ensures that content is delivered to students in a developmentally appropriate manner. The available grade bands are K-2, 3-5, and 6-12. Your initial Student Grade selection determines the grade band to start, but you can choose other grade bands if needed. For example, if you have a Grade 6 student who would benefit from learning the content in smaller chunks, with more scaffolding or more visually stimulating elements, then you could choose the 3-5 grade band instead.
Lesson Type Lessons are categorized as either Instruction or Practice. Practice lessons are currently only available in Math and are great supplements to whole-class instruction.
  5. Click a lesson name to preview the content and print resources if needed.
