The Usage report allows Teachers and Administrators to view time on the program for all students assigned to them. You can view actual student usage and predicted end-of-year student usage at both the group and individual student levels, and the Usage report updates within an hour.
Notes
- District Administrators can also view school-level data.
- Only usage data from active students assigned to a group are included in the Usage report. Administrators with students unassigned to groups are notified at the top of the report. Click Unassigned Active Students to begin the process of assigning the students to a group.
To view Usage reports:
- Log in to Imagine Language & Literacy.
- Select a group or organization from the bottom of the Home page.
- From the dashboard, click into the Usage section.
- The Usage report opens to the group-level view on the By Week tab. The Predicted EOY (End of Year) tab is also available.
Note
District Administrators: The report is available at the school level, and you can drill down into group-level data by first clicking on a school name in the bottom section of the report.
- Click on the tab corresponding to the section of the report you wish to view. The By Week tab displays data for past usage; the Predicted EOY tab calculates usage projections for future usage based on usage averages observed throughout the current academic year.
- The Time Period filter defaults to the last 4 Weeks. Change the Time Period and Grade filters if desired.
The Time Period options are:
Time Period Definition This Week The current week that will end on Saturday. Last Week The previous full week that ended on Saturday. 4 Weeks The previous 3 full weeks ending on Saturday plus usage accumulated so far in the current week that will end on Saturday. 8 Weeks The previous 7 full weeks ending on Saturday plus accumulated usage for the current week that will end on Saturday. Year to Date The data from the beginning of your school year until now. Custom Select a date range by clicking the start and end dates you want. If you select a date mid-week, the first dot on the graph shows data starting that day and ending on the Saturday of that week. - The top of the report is either a bar graph (when the time filter is set to This Week or Last Week) or a line graph (all other timeframes, including the default 4 Weeks). The horizontal dotted-green line on the graph visually indicates the usage goal, which can be edited at the school level by an administrator.
When the Time Period is set to This Week or Last Week:
- Each bar represents one day.
- The weekly usage goal is divided by 5 to arrive at the daily usage goal.
- You can hover over a bar to display the average usage compared to the usage goal, as well as how many students used the program that day or week.
When the Time Period is 4 Weeks, 8 Weeks, Year to Date, or Custom:
- Each dot represents the week that ends on Saturday.
- The faint dotted-green line represents your weekly usage goal.
- Depending on your role, the bottom of the report shows a row for each student's, group's, or school's data for the time frame you've selected in the filter.
