Students in Imagine Español (IE) can turn on Tablet Mode to have IE behave in a more tablet-friendly way, such as providing an in-app keyboard in certain activities. This is helpful on tablets and on other devices, such as tablet/touchscreen Chromebooks without keyboards or in other setups where extra touch features may be useful, even if students aren't actually using a tablet.
To turn on Tablet Mode (instructions for students):
- From the bottom of any activity, click the accessibility icon (human figure
).
- In the Ajustes de accessibilidad (Accessibility tools) window, click Force Tablet Mode.
- When turned on, Tablet Mode has a gray checkmark at the top of the button. Click the X in the top right corner of the window to save your selection and exit the tools. Tablet Mode will apply to all future activities, not just the activity you are currently in.
Note
If you have both Imagine Language & Literacy and Imagine Español, turning Tablet Mode on or off in one program automatically turns it on or off in both programs.
