Students in Imagine Español (IE) can adjust the volume of their activities' voices, sound effects, and music. Sound effects and music can also be turned off entirely.
Note
This screen will be in Spanish for all IE students.
To adjust volume settings (instructions for students):
- From the bottom of any activity, click the accessibility icon (human figure
).
- Click Volumen.
- The volume screen opens with the the controls for Voz (voice), Efectos de sonido (sound effects), and Música (music) all set to the highest levels.
Use the sliders to adjust each component to the desired volume. You will hear examples of the volume so you can pick the level that is best for you. You can turn off the sound effects and music by pulling the sliders all the way to the left. The voice can't be turned off entirely, but you can set it low. - Click the X in the top right corner to save your selections and exit the Ajustes de accesibilidad (Accessibility Tools). The settings will apply to all future activities, not just the activity you are currently in.
Notes
- If you turn the sound effects and music off in the Ajustes de accesibilidad (Accessibility Tools), they will remain off no matter how loud you turn up your device's volume.
- If you increase or decrease the volume settings on your device, that can also increase or decrease the volume of any component that wasn't turned off in the tools.
- If you have both Imagine Language & Literacy and Imagine Español, changing the settings in one program automatically changes the settings in both programs.
- After decreasing the volume of the components, you can quickly reset all 3 volume settings to their highest level via the Reiniciar Volumen button.
