The recommended usage time for Imagine Math Facts is 10 to 15 minutes per session, 4 to 5 times per week. The program keeps track of each student's time and displays it in the Usage report.
Usage time in Imagine Math Facts is not a raw total of the minutes students are on the program. Instead, usage time fields in the Usage report are estimated to remove idle time and time spent navigating the game world. (This is why the Usage report times may be lower than students' session time and lower than what students see in the Active Time Played field on the Pause screen).
The most accurate way for usage to be recorded is for students to log out correctly via the Pause menu. If students don't exit this way, the usage time since their last checkpoint, also known as a save point, will not be recorded. The time it takes students to move from one checkpoint to another is highly variable.
