Deactivating a student's learning path in Imagine MyPath

Administrators and Teachers can deactivate the learning path of a student on the Student Placement page.

Deactivating a student's learning path will remove that subject tile from their MyPath home page. However, if needed, you can reactivate it and/or change the student's placement grade.

Deactivating a student's learning path will have the following effects on reports:

  • Class Summary: The student's name displays with an icon indicating that no learning path is available
  • Class Progress: The student's name is not displayed
  • Student Profile: The subject of the deactivated learning path is not listed 
  • Student Progress: The message No Learning Path Assigned appears
  • Usage Report: The student's name appears but has a learning path status of Inactive
  • Student Placement: In the Overall Placement column, it will say Deactivated

To deactivate the learning path of a student:

  1. Select a class.
  2. Click Student Placement in the upper navigation.

  3. Select more options ( more-options-icon.png ) for the student, then click Deactivate Learning Path.

  4. On the popup that appears, click Yes to confirm.
