Viewing the class-level Usage report in Imagine+ Math

The class-level Usage Report in Imagine+ Math gives Teachers and Administrators a high-level dashboard view of student engagement and pathway progress for an entire class. This report is essential for identifying usage gaps, understanding whole-class trends, and focusing support where it’s needed most.

  • Teachers can view usage data across their assigned class.
  • School and District Administrators can access usage data for all eligible schools and classes in their organization.

Understanding the class-level Usage report

Using drop-down menus and filters

Use the drop-down menus at the top of the report to tailor the data that appears on the page. You can choose another subject, path type, or timeframe. Refer to the table below for descriptions of the drop-down menus.

Menu Description
Subject If the selected class has more than one subject assigned to it, use this drop-down menu to toggle between subjects. Math is the default. Only one subject can be selected at a time.
Path Type Select Mastery Path or Builder Path. All is the default.
Dates Specify the usage timeframe to display: Today, Yesterday, Last 7 Days (default), Last 28 Days, Last 90 Days, or Custom.

The Filters menu allows you to remove inactive learning paths or students from view or focus on particular grade levels if the class is mixed. Refer to the table below for descriptions of the available filters.

Menu Description
Learning Path Status The options are Active and Inactive. A student's learning path is "inactive" if the student has not yet been assigned a learning path, the student's learning path was deactivated by an educator, or the student completed their learning path. If you only want to view the usage data for active learning paths, check the box next to Active.
Student Status The options are Active and Inactive. A student's account is "inactive" if it has been archived or deleted. Check the box next to Active so that only students with active accounts appear.
Grade If the selected class has mixed grades, the students' grade levels appear as the options. Choose a grade to only see data for students rostered to that grade level.

 Tip

You can also search for a specific student using the Student Name search bar.

Understanding the Usage report table

The Usage report table displays detailed usage and progress data for every student in the selected class. Each row summarizes a student's activity, with columns that highlight key usage metrics for the period and pathway(s) selected. The table below defines what information is shown in each column of the Usage report.
usage-report_class-example.png

Column Description
Student Name The full name of the student. Click to access the student's Usage report.
Student ID A unique identifier for each student.
Subject The selected subject area.
Grade The student’s current rostered grade level.
Learning Path Status Shows if the path is Active or Inactive.
Path Type Indicates which learning pathway(s) are included: Mastery Path, Builder Path, or All for combined data. Badges visually distinguish each type.
Lessons Passed Number of lessons passed within the selected timeframe.
Lessons Not Passed Number of lessons attempted but not passed in the reporting period.
Active Time Total time (hh:mm) the student was active in the selected timeframe.

 Tip

When students have been assigned both pathways, click Collapse All above the table to quickly hide pathway-specific details for every student. Collapsing the rows makes it easier to review class-wide total usage, while expanding provides a full view of individual pathway activity. Click Expand All to return to the expanded view for all students.

Best practices

  • Check the class-level usage report weekly to catch low-usage patterns, coach students toward goals, and celebrate improvements.
  • Monitor if students are working in both Math Mastery and Builder Pathways—use the pathway badges in the table.
  • Encourage recommended active time (45 min/week for grades K-2, 60 min/week for grades 3+).
  • Follow up with students showing low Lessons Passed or high Lessons Not Passed for targeted support.
