The student-level Usage report in Imagine+ Math gives Teachers and Administrators a detailed view of how students are engaging with their learning path(s). Use this report to see a summary of usage, including Active Time and Lessons Completed, as well as trends over time.
- Teachers can view usage data for students in their own classes.
- School and District Administrators can access usage data across all students at their schools.
To view the student-level Usage report:

Understanding the student-level Usage report
Using drop-down menus to customize report
Use the drop-down menus at the top of the report to tailor the data you see for each student. You can choose a different subject (if available), path type, timeframe, or student in the selected class. Refer to the table below for descriptions of the different menus.
| Menu | Description |
|---|---|
| Subject | Choose which subject’s data to display. The available options depend on your organization's product licensing and the student's active and/or completed learning paths. |
| Path Type | Filter usage data by All (default), Mastery Path, or Builder Path. The options only apply to Imagine+ Math learning paths and reflect the student’s active and/or completed learning paths. When the student is assigned both a Mastery Path and Builder Path, an "All" row will show combined progress and usage for both pathways. |
| Dates | Specify the usage timeframe to display: Today, Yesterday, Last 7 Days (default), Last 28 Days, Last 90 Days, or Custom. The summary tiles and table update based on your selection. |
| Student | Quickly toggle to another student in your current class or group without leaving the report page. |
Note
If you don’t see data for a particular path type, check the Path Type drop-down menu. If a student has only engaged with the Mastery pathway, only that data appears—even when "All" Path Types is selected.
Summary tiles
The top of the report displays four summary tiles:
A. Student Name and Grade Level
B. Lessons Completed (selected time frame in parentheses, e.g., "Last 28 Days")
C. Activities Completed (selected time frame)
D. Active Time (selected time frame)
If a student is assigned both a Mastery Path and a Builder Path, the summary tiles show an overall total that combines usage from both pathways during the selected timeframe, unless a specific path type is selected in the drop-down menu above.
Understanding the weekly overview table
The weekly overview table shows a summary of the student’s activity by week and path type.
Tip
Each weekly row is expandable. Click the arrow at the end of a row to view detailed session-level data, or use Expand All to see all the details at once.
The table below describes what information is shown in each column of the weekly overview table.
| Column | Description |
|---|---|
| Weeks | The week(s) within the selected time frame are listed. Each week spans from Monday to Sunday. An asterisk (*) indicates a partial week. |
| Path Type |
Shows which learning pathway the student was active in that week (e.g., Mastery Path or Builder Path)—displayed as a colored badge. If a student was active in both pathways, "All" will appear for Path Type and data from each pathway will be combined. |
| Total Activities Completed | Number of all individual activities the student finished during the week. Activities may include lessons, mastery checks, practice blocks, etc. |
| Total Lessons Completed | Number of lessons fully completed by the student during the week for the. This is a subset of activities and counts each lesson once, regardless of the number of sessions. |
| Total Active Time | Aggregate time (in hours and minutes) spent by the student working in the program for the week and selected path. |
Viewing detailed weekly usage data
Expanding a week in the overview table—using an arrow or Expand All—displays a session-by-session breakdown of the student's activity for that week. Each row shows specific details about lessons within a single pathway.
Note
If the student engaged in more than one learning pathway (such as Mastery Path and Builder Path), separate rows will appear for each pathway's activity, clearly labeled by path type.
Each row in the expanded view includes the following columns:
| Column | Description |
|---|---|
| Date/Time | The start time of each session where progress was made. Multiple rows appear if a lesson spans several sessions. |
| Lesson | The name of the lesson worked on during the week. |
| Activity | The activity type within the lesson (Instruction, Supported Practice, Independent Practice, Mastery Check). |
| Active Time | Time spent on the activity during that session. |
| Score | Percentage shown for Mastery Checks only. A dash (–) indicates an unscored activity. “In Progress” means the activity is not yet finished. |
Exporting the report
To export the student's usage data, click the download icon () in the top right corner of the page to export the data as a CSV file. The report will include only the data matching your current filters and will show a Path Type column where applicable.
