Using the School Administrator (2+ schools) dashboard in Imagine+ Assessment

School Administrators (SAs) with access to multiple schools in Imagine+ Assessment® have access to tools for scheduling assessments, monitoring progress, and managing student data within the schools they have been assigned. This article explains how to navigate and use the dashboard effectively.

Your dashboard includes two primary sections:

  • Left Navigation Panel: Persistent vertical menu for accessing different pages or tools.
  • Main Workspace: Dynamic area for viewing and interacting with data.

Left Navigation Panel

Navigation Item Description
Product Selection Menu Hover over the Imagine+ Assessment logo (top-left) to switch between Imagine Learning® products or return to the Product Portal for rostering tools.
Home  
Schools View a list of schools in your district. When selected, a ribbon appears along the top of the main workspace with tabs for Institutions, Students, Educators, Reports, Academic Sessions, and Settings. Click a school name to take actions or view data in the selected school.
Users

Two tabs are available on this page:

  • Students (default): View all students in your schools. Search students by name or username. Click a student's name to view their profile (Name, Username, School, Grade, External ID, and enrolled classes).
  • Educators: View all teachers and administrators in your schools. Search for educators by Name, Username/Email, or External ID. Click an educator's name to view their profile (Name, Username/Email, Associated Schools, user Type, and External ID).

 Note

Rostering changes must be made in the Product Portal.

Scheduling Create, edit, or delete assessment schedules. Filter scheduled assessments by Type (Diagnostic or Screener) or Status (Upcoming, In Progress, Closed). Click the three dots (kebab menu) to take action on an assessment.
Formatives Build and assign standards-based formative assessments. Track completion and mastery.
Reports Access Diagnostic, Formative, and Screener reports.
Resource Center The Resource Center includes announcements about new features, links to the Help Center and Customer Learning Library, and information on how to contact Product Support.

Access the Help Center through the Resource Center to view all available articles for licensed products.

 Note

Options on your dashboard and within pages depend on your organization's product licensing.

Main Workspace Ribbon

When you select School in the left navigation panel, these tabs appear:

Ribbon Tab Description
Schools Lists all schools you manage. Click a school name to filter other tabs by that school's data.
Students Provides access to all student profiles across your schools.
Educators Shows all teachers and administrators in your district.
Reports Access Diagnostic, Formative, and Screener data.
Academic Sessions View start and end dates of current and previous school years.
Settings

View details about your district's site in Imagine+ Assessment:

  • Site Code
  • External Institution ID (for integrations)
  • Category
  • State
  • Time Zone

 

School-Specific View

When you select a School from the Institutions tab:

  • The ribbon changes to show Classes (replacing Institutions), Students, Educators, Reports, Academic Sessions, and Settings.

  • All data in these tabs is filtered for the selected School.

  • The Classes tab lists all classes at the selected school along with assigned teachers.

  • You can still access district-wide data by clicking Schools in the left navigation panel.

Top Dashboard Features

The following two features are available in the top-right section of your dashboard:

  • Site code: Click View Site Code at the top right of the screen to view and copy your school's site code for Imagine+ Assessment. You can provide this code to students to help them log in.
  • Profile/Logout drop-down menu: Click the down arrow next to your name to access your profile or log out.
