Using Renaissance Star with Imagine MyPath

Imagine MyPath integrates with Renaissance Star assessments to create individualized learning paths for students in math and reading. By using Renaissance Star data, MyPath determines each student's overall proficiency level and customizes their learning experience to target the right skills.

Important considerations

• Assessment type: Imagine MyPath only integrates with English-language versions of the Renaissance Star Math and Reading assessments. Early literacy, Curriculum-based Measures (CBM), and Spanish versions do not generate placements.
• Data sync timing: The automated sync process may take up to three days to update student placements after a new Renaissance Star assessment is completed.
• Placement adjustments: Manually adjusting a student's placement in MyPath sets a standard grade-level placement. When new Renaissance Star results sync, if the overall grade level is different from the manual placement, MyPath will update the student's placement automatically—unless you lock the placement in the learning path settings.

Using Renaissance Star with Imagine MyPath students

• Returning students: Placements from the previous school year are retained until new Renaissance Star assessment results become available.
• New students: If students have not yet taken a Renaissance Star assessment, you can manually place them to get started. Placements will update automatically to reflect the latest Renaissance Star overall grade-level score as soon as results sync, unless the placement is locked.
• Assessment data: Imagine MyPath automatically pulls Renaissance Star results from assessments taken after July 1 of the current school year. For older results, contact your Imagine Learning Customer Success Manager.
