Accessing guided notes as an educator in Imagine MyPath

Guided notes are partially completed worksheets designed to scaffold students' note-taking and enhance their ability to identify the most important information in a lesson. These resources consist of unlabeled diagrams, graphic organizers, and fill-in-the-blank prompts and are intended to be used by students during the instructional portion of a lesson. The PDFs are not editable, so we recommend printing them out to allow students to benefit the most from their use. Student and teacher versions of guided notes are available, with the teacher versions containing the answers. Note that guided notes are only available in lessons covering content from Grades 6–12.

Whether students are working through their learning paths or on teacher-built assignments, Teachers and Administrators can access, print, and distribute guided notes to students when needed. Alternatively, students can access guided notes from their Course Map, but they can only access the guided notes for the lesson they are currently working on.

To access guided notes for a lesson in a student's learning path

1. Log in to the Imagine MyPath suite.
2. Teachers or School Administrators with access to 1 school: Click a class on your Classes page. Administrators with access to multiple schools: Select a school on your Schools page, then select a class.
3. Click a student's name on the Class Summary page.
   
4. Click Upcoming to view the Upcoming Lessons, then select a lesson.  
   
5. Select one of the guided notes to preview it or click the download icon to save it to your device.
   

To access guided notes for a lesson in an assignment

1. Log in to the Imagine MyPath suite.
2. Teachers or School Administrators with access to 1 school: Click the Assignment Builder icon in the left panel.
   Administrators with access to multiple schools: Click the Assignment Builder icon in the left panel, then select the desired school.
   
3. Select an assignment card under the Assigned tab to open the Assignment Summary page for that assignment.
   
4. Click a lesson name to open the lesson details page for a particular lesson.
   
5. The lesson resources, including worksheets and guided notes, are displayed on the right. Click a guided notes tile to preview it or click the download icon to save it to your device. The teacher versions are labeled with "Teacher Version."
