The Benchmark Performance Report in Imagine+ Assessment helps Administrators and Teachers review benchmark performance, compare results across benchmark windows, and identify students who need additional support. The report can display data at the district, school, class, and student levels.
Depending on your role, you can view these report levels.
| Role | Available report levels |
|---|---|
| District Administrators | District, school, class, and student |
| School Administrators | School, class, and student |
| Teachers | Class and student |
Note
This school year, only Math benchmarks for Grades 3–8 are available in Imagine+ Assessment.
What you can do with this report
- Review performance: See how students performed on selected benchmarks by percent correct and performance category.
- Compare results: Review results across selected benchmarks to see how performance changes over time.
- Spot patterns: Find trends across schools, classes, grades, or students to identify where support is needed.

The report opens. Math is the Subject by default. If this is your first time opening the report, it displays a prompt to choose a Test grade/Course and one or more Tests. After that, the report reopens with your last filter selections.
Filter Description Subject This school year, only Math benchmarks are available, so Math is selected by default. Test grade/Course Select a grade level (3–8) for the benchmark series you want to review. Tests Select one benchmark to review results for a single test, or select up to four benchmarks from the same Test grade/Course to review percent correct across the selected series.
Note
You can select up to four benchmarks from the same Test grade/Course. You can skip benchmarks in a series, such as selecting Benchmark 1 and Benchmark 4 without selecting the ones in between.
When you select multiple benchmarks, the report includes only students who completed all selected benchmarks in the percent change and proficiency calculations.
Know the report layout
The report includes three sections that appear at every reporting level. The report looks a little different when you select one benchmark or multiple benchmarks, but both views include two summary sections and a detailed data table.
When a single benchmark is selected
The example below shows the district-level report when one benchmark is selected. Use the table under the image to see descriptions of each numbered section.
| # | Section | Description |
|---|---|---|
| 1 | Overall Performance | A gauge that shows the average percent correct, the performance category, and the percentage of students who are Completed, In Progress, and Not Started. |
| 2 | Student Performance | A horizontal stacked bar that shows how students are distributed across performance categories for the selected benchmark. |
| 3 | Data Table | A table with performance and completion data. Use the tabs to change how results are grouped, depending on the report level you are viewing. |
When multiple benchmarks are selected
The example below shows the district-level report when multiple benchmarks are selected. Each section shows trends across the selected benchmarks instead of data from a single test. Use the table under the image to see descriptions of each numbered section.
| # | Section | Description |
|---|---|---|
| 1 | Overall Performance | A bar chart that shows average percent correct for each selected benchmark. Each subsequent benchmark also shows the percent change from the prior one with an arrow indicator. |
| 2 | Student Performance | Horizontal stacked bars for each selected benchmark that show how students are distributed across performance categories. Benchmarks are listed from most recent to oldest, top to bottom. |
| 3 | Data Table | The same table structure as the single-benchmark view, but rows can expand to show results for each selected benchmark. Use the tabs to change how results are grouped, and use Expand all or Collapse all to show or hide those rows. |
Note
When a benchmark is reassigned to a student, the previous result stays visible in the report until the reassigned benchmark is completed. After completion, the new result replaces the previous one.
Understand the performance categories
The report groups students into four performance categories based on their percent correct score. The categories, colors, and ranges are the same across all report levels and subjects.
| Category | Color | Percent Correct Range |
|---|---|---|
| Emerging | Red |
0–32% |
| Developing | Orange |
33–66% |
| Approaching | Mint green |
67–84% |
| Proficient | Dark green |
85–100% |
