Imagine+ Math offers robust language supports to make math accessible for all students, especially multilingual learners. These features are available across both major pathways—Math Mastery and Math Builder—and are designed to improve students' engagement and understanding.
Overview of language supports in Imagine+ Math
- Comprehensive Spanish language integration: Spanish is fully integrated in all K–2 Math Mastery and K–5 Math Builder lessons—including instructions, navigation, audio, videos, and onscreen text. In grades 3–5 Math Mastery, Spanish supports include the user interface, lesson text, and audio, but do not cover onscreen text in videos and images.
- Language translation tool: Provides on-screen translation of most lesson text and directions into over 60 languages, supporting both Math Mastery (grades 3–5) and Math Builder pathways.
- Text-to-speech (TTS): Reads on-screen text aloud in 45 languages, enabling students with diverse language backgrounds and reading abilities to access lesson content.
- Audio directions & glossaries: Key instructions in lessons and assessments are available in English and Spanish for K–5. In upper grades, a Spanish glossary is included to support academic vocabulary.
- On-demand tutoring in Spanish: For grades 3–5, students can access live tutors who provide support in English or Spanish. Students can request a Spanish-speaking tutor or be connected automatically by typing in Spanish.
