Uploading your Robotify roster files to Imagine Learning

Once you’ve filled the roster templates with your data, you can upload your roster files to Imagine Learning using the secure form below. Follow the instructions below to fill in the Educator and student import templates. Once the templates are populated, complete the form at the bottom of this page, selecting Robotify as the Product.

Educators

The Educator Import Template is used for District Administrators, School Administrators, and Teachers. Associate only Teachers to a class.  

To self-roster Educators for Imagine Robotify, download the Imagine Robotify educator import template (a CSV file that includes the columns below) and populate these required fields in the Educator import file with your data. Then you can use the Upload Roster Files tool to import your educator data into Imagine Robotify. 

Field Description
Class Name (required)

The name of the primary classroom to which you want to assign the educator.

 Note

Teachers can be associated with more than one class, but each class needs its own row in the template.

Class Grade (required)

The class grade level. Only one grade can be associated with each class. 

First Name (required)

The educator's first name.

Last Name (required)

The educator's last name.

Email (required)

The email address of the educator. The email address must contain all lowercase in this format: username@domain (for example, joe.davis@yourschool.edu).

Username (required)
The username must be the email address or a very unique format, such as first.last.educatorid, as usernames must be unique system-wide.
Password (required)

The password the educator uses to log in to Imagine Robotify. Passwords must contain at least eight characters and cannot be completely numeric.

School Name (required)

The full name of the school to assign the educator. The school name must be unique within your district.

User Type (required)
There are three user types for the Educator import template: District Admin, School Admin, and Teacher:
  • Administrator: Allows you to create and manage organizations and groups, as well as manage all student and staff accounts. If you are an Administrator, you can change your role at any time.
  • Teacher: Allows you to see only the groups and student accounts that are assigned to you. Teachers do not have permissions to create or manage organizations or other staff accounts.

Students

The Student Import Template is used for students.  

To self-roster students for Imagine Robotify, download the Imagine Robotify student import template (a CSV file that includes the columns below) and populate these required fields in the Student import file with your data. Then you can use the Upload Roster Files tool to import your student data into Imagine Robotify. Students can also be assigned manually to a classroom.
