Compete is a game-based learning tool where teachers can create competitions to advance students' coding skills. Each competition of a blend of gamification, e-sports, and education that encourages students to develop and implement optimized algorithms while putting their basic programming skills to the test.
To create a competition:
- Log in to Imagine Robotify.
- Go to Competitions > Create Competition on the left menu.
- Click Create Competition.

Create Competition displays. Enter a title, start and end date, and student access level (the students who will be allowed to participate in the competition). Select a coding language and environment, then click Create Competition.

Competitions begin at 12:01 AM local time on their start date and end at 11:59 PM local time on their end date.

Find the directions for the competition by going to Educator Resources > Project Resources and clicking on the Educator Guide for the associated course.
- Students in the selected school(s) or class(es) are now eligible to compete and can access the competition in Competitions page of their student account.
To access the Competition homepage:
- Log in to Imagine Robotify.
- Go to Competitions > Home on the left menu.
- The competitions you've created will display in the either the Active Competitions or Previous Competitions section, as appropriate.

Click View Leaderboard to see how your students are doing.
Once students complete a challenge, the leaderboard for the associated competition updates. Leaderboards display each student's position (rank), name (user), and number of points. If you want, you can order the list by Points (High to Low) or Points (Low to High).
