Transcription and audio support are important language features in Imagine MyPath. The transcription feature is called the language translation tool—it changes the text on the page from English to one of over 60 additional languages.
The audio feature is called text-to-speech, and it reads the text to you out loud. It is available in several of the same languages as the language translation tool. You can view the list of languages in step 5 of this article.
Note
Your teacher must grant you access to these features by enabling them in your student profile. They must be enabled separately for MyPath Reading, MyPath Math, Imagine Science Corner, and Imagine Purpose. Talk to your teacher if you'd like to use these features and don't see them in your account.
To change the language and hear the text read aloud (instructions for students):
- Log in to the Imagine MyPath suite.
- Click Go on the applicable subject.
- Select Go on the next lesson.
- To use the language translation tool: Click English in the top right of the screen.

If needed, click More to view additional languages; then click the desired language.
Click HERE to see the list of languages available for text translation.

Note
Once you activate a language, you will have continued access every time you log in to MyPath, and the selection remains until your learning path is updated or a new school year starts. -
To use text-to-speech: Highlight the text you want to listen to, then click the speaker icon in the bottom left corner of the screen and click Play to hear the text read aloud.
Note
To listen to the entire page starting from the top left corner, click Play without first highlighting a portion of text.
