Administrators are able to input an external ID for students in MyPath. An external ID is a unique identifier that's assigned to match the class ID that's used in customers' SIS systems.
To add an external ID to a student account:
- Select Users on the left navigation bar.
- Select Users on the left navigation bar.
Continue with the following:
- Choose Student Roster in the Students view.
- Click the student's name.
If necessary, enter the name, username, or external ID of the student in the search box. Then click the search icon (
) or press Enter on the keyboard.
Note
Search with as little as one letter or number. The more details provided, the smaller the search results. - Choose Edit next to Student Details.
- Enter the student's external ID in the External ID field, and click Save.
