Resetting a Student's Password

Teachers can reset a student's password. Usernames are unique to a login code domain. So, users who are Educators or students log in with a code that is specific to their site. Usernames cannot include spaces. However, they can include special characters and most of the alt-code characters if they are copied and pasted. Passwords must contain between six and 32 case-sensitive characters without spaces. All keyboard special characters are allowed. 

Administrators can change the student’s school.

To reset a student's password:

Teachers School Admins (One School) District/School Admins (2+ Schools)
  1. Click Students

Continue with the following:

    1. Type the student's name or username into the search box.

    2. Press Enter on the keyboard or click the search icon searchicon.png.

    3. Select the student's name.

    4. Click Edit in Student Profile.

    5. Enter a new password, then re-enter it.

       Note

      Passwords must contain between six and 32 case-sensitive characters without spaces. All keyboard special characters are allowed.  

    6. Click Save
