Creating a Class in MyPath K-12

Educators and Teachers can create classes in MyPath. Entering unique class names is recommended. Educators can assign an unlimited number of teachers to a class, including adding observers to classes they create. Create the observer as an additional teacher then assign a subset of students to that teacher. Observers can be Lab Managers, Resource Teachers, or School Coaches, and can only view student data for students in the classes they are assigned. For example, a Lab Manager working alongside a small group of students can be added as an additional teacher who can view and track the progress of those students.  

To create a class:

  1. Choose Classes on the left navigation.

  2. Click Create Class

  3. Enter a class name, then select one or more teachers and subjects. 

     Note

    An unlimited number of District Administrators, School Administrators, and Teachers may be added to the Teacher field.

  4. Click Create.

  5. The Student Roster page for the class displays.
