Creating assignments with teacher-uploaded practice resources

This page allows Teachers to create an activity with a teacher-uploaded file while creating a new assignment to assign to students and classes.

  1. Click Courses & Assignments.

  2. Click Assignment Builder.

  3. Choose the tab of the desired curriculum. Select a subject, and a grade level. Then, choose whether to display by sequences, skills, or standards.

  4. Click New Practice Resource (Upload Files)

  5. Enter Title, Subject, and Grade Level of the Practice Resource.

  6. Click Upload Files and select the desired file for activity.

    There is a five-file limit with no more than a total of 5MB.

    The following files are accepted:

    • .avi Audio Video Interleave
    • .bmp Bitmap
    • .csv Comma Separated Values
    • .dat Data File
    • .doc MS Word Doc
    • .docx MS Word Open XML Doc
    • .dwg AutoCAD
    • .dxf Drawing Exchange Format
    • .efx eFax
    • .flv Flash Video
    • .gif Graphical Interchange
    • .jpg JPEG

  7. Enter text into the Instructions section and click Save.

  8. Give the Assignment a unique name. This page will show the items that were chosen to be added to the new Assignment. The activity order can be changed.

  9. Add any additional content by selecting Add Curriculum.

  10. Click Complete Assignment.

  11. Categorize the Assignment. Then click Next. To learn more, click here.

  12. Select one or more classes. Then click Finish.

  13. This is the confirmation page. Click Close.
