Each Imagine Reading unit begins with a Focus Question. The Focus Question provides context into what students will be learning throughout the unit. All the passages that students read and discuss in the unit help them unpack and answer different aspects of the Focus Question. Each Focus Question also includes a video that introduces the question, as well as a written response comprehension question for students to respond to. At the beginning of each unit, Teachers introduce the Focus Question and lead a brief discussion about it. As students progress through the unit, Teachers should reference and revisit the Focus Question. The All Unit Discussion Questions enable Teachers to view or print Discussion Questions for the entire unit. View the Writing Questions section to see the graded, ungraded, and unanswered student-written responses for each passage, select Go to Grading to grade student responses.
