Administrators and Teachers can print offline teacher materials to prepare for the Power Sentence Lesson and the Discussion Questions in Imagine Reading, as well as print offline student materials that help students complete Power Sentence Lessons and the Synthesis Project.
Teacher Materials
Administrators and Teachers can print the Power Sentence Lesson Plan to prepare for Power Sentence Lessons, or the Unit Discussion Questions to prepare for class discussions.
To print a Power Sentence Lesson Plan
- Log in to the Literacy Suite. If this is your first time logging in, choose Imagine Reading.
- Click Unit Library in the upper navigation bar to view all the units, then choose a unit.
- In the navigation pane, click the Power Sentence Lesson that you want to print.
- Click Print Lesson Plan.

Print the Power Sentence Lesson Plan from your browser.
To print reading passages
- In the navigation pane, click the passage that you want to print.
- Click Print Reading Passage.
To print Discussion Questions
- In the navigation pane, click the passage for which you want to print discussion questions.
- Click All Unit Discussion Questions.
- Print the Discussion Questions from your browser.
Student Materials
Administrators and Teachers can print passages for students if they need a printed copy or to assist them during Power Sentence Lessons, class discussions, or the Synthesis Project. The Power Sentence Printout helps students deconstruct the Power Sentence into Sentence Chunks, uncovering meaning and subtleties within the Power Sentence. The Student Synthesis Discussion & Project Checklist guides students through the different stages of the Synthesis Project.
To print a passage
- Select Reading Passage for the passage to print.
- Click Print.
To print the Power Sentence Printout
- In the navigation pane, click the Power Sentence Lesson that you want to print. In the Power Sentence Lesson Plan, scroll to Student Print Materials, and click Power Sentence Print.
- Print the Power Sentence Printout from your browser.
To print the Student Synthesis Discussion & Project Checklist
- In the navigation pane, scroll to Step 3: Synthesis Project and click Student Synthesis Discussion & Project Checklist.
- Print the Student Synthesis Discussion & Project Checklist from your browser.
