Using Teacher Resources in Imagine Reading

Teacher Resources provide offline resources for teachers and students such as lesson planners, achievement certificates, standards correlations, and more. These offline materials help you get started using Imagine Reading, plan lessons, set up your classroom with posters, banners, and stickers, and track your students' progress. Educators can print these resources from the browser.

To access Teacher Resources

  1. Log in to the Literacy Suite. If this is your first time logging in, choose Imagine Reading.

  2. Click the question mark ( ReadingQuestionmark.png ) in the bottom left corner of the screen.

  3. Choose Teacher Resources.

    Teacher Resources are organized in 3 sections: Teacher Materials, Student Materials, and Standards Correlations.

    Resources in the Teacher Materials section include:

    Teacher Materials Description 
    Lesson Planner (All Units) Lesson planner to help teachers plan and monitor lessons for the school year.
    Unit & Reading Passage Lexile Levels List of Lexile levels for each unit and passage to help teachers match students with the units that are closest to their reading ability
    Project-based Learning Crosswalk (Grade 6-8 Crosswalk for combining Imagine Math and Imagine Reading for cross-curricular units of study for Grade 6-8 students.
    Achievement Certificate (Formal) Standard certificate to recognize students' efforts and improvements.
    Achievement Certificate (Playful) Achievement certificate with stars to recognize students' efforts, and improvements.
    10 Steps to Getting Started Poster (English) Imagine Reading poster "10 Steps to Getting Started".

    Standards Correlations Description 
    Standards, Lexile Levels, & Focus Skills List of Lexile levels, Focus Skills, and Standard for each passage in a unit to help teachers match students with the units that are closest to their reading ability for Grade 3-8 students.
    Common Core (CCSS) Correlates Imagine Reading curriculum with Common Core State English Language Arts (ELA) Standards for Grade 3-8 students.
    Florida (BEST) Correlates Imagine Reading curriculum with Florida's Benchmark for Excellent Student Thinking (BEST) standard for Grade 3-8 students.
    Florida (LAFS) Correlates Imagine Reading curriculum with Florida's LAFS standard for Grade 3-8 students.
    Texas (TEKS) Correlates Imagine Reading curriculum with Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills (TEKS) standard for Grade 3-8 students.
