As a District Administrator, you can prevent teachers from creating student accounts for all schools in your district. This feature is handy if a Student Information System (SIS) is used to manage educators, students and classes for all schools in your district.
To allow or prevent the creation of student accounts by teachers
- Log in to the Math portal.
- Click District Settings under Quick Links on your dashboard.
- Check or uncheck Allow teachers to create student accounts, as appropriate, then click Save.
Unchecked -- prevents teachers from creating student accounts.
Checked -- allows teachers to create student accounts.
- Log into Imagine Math as a teacher and attempt to create a new student, to validate your change.
