Administrators and Teachers can print student login cards for their groups (or classes) or individual students. Login cards make it easier for students to log in to Imagine Language & Literacy by including all their login information, including the URL that students use to access Imagine Language & Literacy or Imagine Español, their school's site code, and their unique username and password.
Login cards also include a QR code that makes logging in even easier for students. Students simply swipe their login card across a device's camera to log in to Imagine Language & Literacy. (For more information, see Logging in to the Literacy Suite.)
Recommendation
We recommend that you send Imagine Language & Literacy family letters home with student login cards so that parents understand what Imagine Language & Literacy is and how to help students use it at home.
Note
Your students must use a device with a camera enabled on it to log in to Imagine Language & Literacy using the QR code on their login card. The first time you swipe a login card with a QR code on it, your browser will confirm that you want to enable the camera to read QR codes.
Note
You must use Chrome as your web browser to successfully print login cards with QR codes. If you are using another web browser, you can print student credentials (but not QR codes) on the login cards.
