If you are a District Administrator, you can activate or deactivate educator accounts (which includes School Administrator and Teacher accounts). If you are a School Administrator, you can activate and deactivate Teacher accounts. Activating an account allows the educator to log into Imagine Math; deactivating an account prevents them from logging in. Before you begin
- Make sure you know the names of the educators that you want to activate or deactivate.
To activate or deactivate an educator account
- Log in to the Math portal.
- Click Management > Educators from the navigation pane.
- To activate an account:
- Click Inactive from the drop-down list to display all inactive educator accounts.
- Find the educator (School Administrator or Teacher) that you want to activate. You can use the Role drop-down list to narrow the list of educators, or search for a specific educator's name.
- Click Activate under the Actions column.
- Click Yes to confirm that you want to activate the account.
- To deactivate an account:
- Click Active from the drop-down list to display a list of all active educator accounts.
- Find the educator (School Administrator or Teacher) that you want to deactivate. You can use the Role drop-down list to narrow the list of educators, or search for a specific educator's name.
- Click Deactivate under the Actions column.
- Click Yes to confirm that you want to deactivate the account. Deactivating an account prevents the educator from logging in to Imagine Math.
- Click OK.
- If you activated educators, check the Active list to verify that they have been activated. If you deactivated educators, check the Inactive list to verify that they have been deactivated.
