One component of Imagine Math 3+'s motivational strategy is the leaderboard. The leaderboard is located on the dashboard for administrators, teachers, and students and displays leaders in lessons passed and THINK Points earned. The leaderboard updates every 15 to 30 minutes.
The leaderboard applies to Imagine Math 3+ students only; Imagine Math PreK-2 students are not included. For Imagine Math 3+ students, the leaderboard can be turned off at a customer/district level by having a District Administrator or your district's Imagine Learning Customer Success Manager (CSM) contact Imagine Learning Product Support. This cannot be done for individual classrooms.
The Lessons Passed portion of the leaderboard is a cumulative total of lessons passed year-to-date (YTD).
The Think Points portion of the leaderboard resets every Saturday evening (Sunday, 12:00am UTC). So, it only displays the number of THINK Points each student has earned for the current week. Resetting weekly gives students a fresh chance to be at the top of the Points leaderboard each week rather than allowing one student to continually dominate the board. Please note that students will still keep their points to spend and/or donate from week-to-week.
