Understanding educator permissions in the Literacy and MyPath suite

Educator accounts can be one of two types:  Administrator or Teacher. Administrator and Teacher accounts have different permissions. This chart shows which permissions are unique to each account type, which permissions are shared, and any restrictions in how those permissions are applied.

Create student accounts (includes assigning product access to students) Administrators can create student accounts for any group in the organization; Teachers can create student accounts for their own groups.
Edit student account information (ongoing maintenance) Administrators can edit all student accounts within their organization; Teachers can edit student accounts in their own groups.
Delete student accounts   Administrators can delete a student's account; Teachers can instead remove a student from their group.
Reactivate student accounts When fewer than 90 days have passed since the account was created, Administrators can reactivate all student accounts within their organization; Teachers can reactivate student accounts in their own groups.
Print login cards for individual students Administrators can print login cards for any student in their organization; Teachers can print login cards for students assigned to them.

Create a group Administrators can create groups for any teachers within their organization(s); Teachers can only create their own groups.
Assign student accounts to a group (ongoing maintenance)  
Remove student accounts from a group  
Edit group information (ongoing maintenance)  
Delete a group Administrators can delete any group in their organization; Teachers can delete any groups that they have created or are assigned to them.
Print roster for a group Administrators can print rosters for all groups in their organization; Teachers can print rosters for any group assigned to them.
Print login cards for a group Administrators can print login cards for any group in the organization; Teachers can print login cards for any student assigned to them.

Enabling or disabling the Benchmark Test and Reading Level Assessment
  District Administrators can change the test enablement settings for all schools in their district. School Administrators can only change the enablement settings for their school. 
Scheduling the Galileo ELA Benchmark using the Easy Benchmark Scheduler  
Reassigning the Placement or Benchmark Test in Imagine Language & Literacy Administrators can reassign the Placement Test or Benchmark Test for any students in a school or class; Teachers can only reassign the Placement Test or Benchmark Test for students that are assigned to them.
