Logging in to Imagine Galileo K-12

These instructions explain how students and educators/admins log in to Imagine Galileo K-12.

Note

If your school uses an SSO provider, such as Clever or Classlink, you should use your SSO portal to log in.

Student Login Educator Login

These instructions explain how students log in to Imagine Language & Literacy, Imagine Lectura, Imagine Español, Imagine Reading, and Imagine Galileo K-12 (the Literacy Suite).

To log in, students must have either:

  • A username, password, and Site Code.

    -OR-

  • A supported device with a camera that can scan a QR code.

Student login credentials come from the school. Educators/administrators can print Student Login Cards to distribute to their students. These Student Login Cards contain the student's username, password, and Site Code, as well as a QR code so they can easily log in to their Imagine Learning student accounts.

Troubleshooting

Here are some quick solutions to problems you might encounter when trying to log a student in to the Literacy Suite.

I'm an educator, and my student does not know their login credentials

Educators and administrators can access student login information through the Educator portal (Manage Students) or, for students with legacy Galileo accounts, through the Galileo Student and Staff Management page. You can also print Student Login Cards for individual students, or groups of students. For more information, see Printing Login Cards.

I'm a parent, and my student does not know their login credentials

If your student wants to use Imagine Learning Literacy products from home, but they don't know their login credentials, contact your school or district system administrator or Imagine Learning Customer Care.

My student cannot change their username and password

Students cannot change their username or password. Login credentials come from the school. However, educators and administrators can change a student's username and password in the Educator portal (for more information, see Editing student account information).

My student does not know their Site Code

A Site Code is a unique identifier for a school or district. Students' Site Codes are found on their Student Login Cards.

You can find student Site Code information by clicking Find Student Login Info (see I'm a parent, and my student does not know their login credentials). This process gives you access to the student's username, password, and Site Code.

Or, if your student only needs their Site Code, they can click the Forgot your Site Code link on the login page.

When students click this link, they are prompted to have their teacher enter the email address for their (the teacher's) Imagine Learning account. If you are a parent helping your child at home, you will need to get this email address from your student's teacher.

Once you enter the teacher's Imagine Learning account email address, the program will show the student's Site Code.

For more information, see Finding your student's Site Code.

The QR Code does not work

QR codes require a device camera. You will need to ensure that camera permissions are enabled for your device and browser. If your student's device does not have a camera, you must manually enter the student's Username, Password, and Site Code.

 Note

If your school uses SSO programs (such as Clever), you will need to use your school's SSO QR code. The Imagine Learning QR code found on Student Login Cards do not work in place of SSO QR codes.
