Enabling or disabling audio support in Imagine Reading

Administrators and Teachers can enable or disable audio support for students who are using Imagine Reading. Audio support provides students with the option to have specific passages or questions read aloud to them. Administrators can enable or disable audio support for any student accounts in their organization; Teachers can enable or disable audio support for any student accounts that are assigned to them. 

To enable or disable audio support for individual student

  1. Log in to the Literacy portal.
  2. Click Manage Students under Manage on your dashboard.

  3. Search, filter, or page to find the student account that you want to enable or disable audio settings for.
    1. In the Search box, search for student names.
    2. Click Add Filter and choose how you want to filter results, to filter student names.

    3. Click the arrows to page through student names.

  4. Click Edit () next to the student that you want to enable or disable audio support for.
  5. Choose Yes from the Imagine Reading: Audio Support list, to enable audio support; choose No to disable it.

  6. Click Save. 

To bulk enable or disable audio for a group

  1. Click Manage Students under Manage on your dashboard.

  2. Check the top box to select all students in your class, then click Bulk Edit.

  3. Choose Yes from the Imagine Reading: Audio Support list to enable audio support; choose No to disable it.

  4. Click Update.
