Printing login cards in Imagine Reading

 

Administrators and Teachers can print student login cards for their groups (or classes) or individual students. Login cards make it easy for students to log in to Imagine Reading by including all their login information, including the URL that students use to access Imagine Reading, their school's site code, and their unique username and password.

Login cards also include a QR code that makes logging in even easier for students. Students simply swipe their login card across a device's camera to log in to Imagine Reading. (For more information, see Logging in to the Literacy Suite.)

 Recommendation

We recommend that you send Imagine Reading family letters home with student login cards so that parents understand what Imagine Reading is and how to help students use it at home.

 Note

Your students must use a camera-enabled device to log in to Imagine Reading using the QR code on their login card. The first time you swipe a login card with a QR code on it, your browser will confirm that you want to enable the camera to read QR codes.

 Note

You must use Chrome as your web browser to successfully print login cards with QR codes. If you are using another web browser, you can print student credentials (but not QR codes) on the login cards.

To print group login cards

  1. Log in to the Literacy Suite. If this is your first time logging in, choose Imagine Reading.

  2. Click Manage Groups under the Manage heading.

  3. Check the group(s) that you want to print login cards for, then click Print Login Cards.

To print individual login cards

  1. Log in to the Literacy Suite. If this is your first time logging in, choose Imagine Reading.

  2. Click Manage Students under the Manage heading.

  3. Select the student(s) for which you want to print login cards, then click Print Login Cards.
