Activating/deactivating student accounts in the Imagine Math suite

This article applies to Imagine Math and Imagine Math Facts.

Activating a student sets their account to an active state, allowing them to log into and use Imagine Math and/or Imagine Math Facts. Deactivating a student sets their account to inactive, preventing them from logging into and using the program. 

Administrators and Teachers can activate and deactivate students in their purview.

To activate or deactivate a student:

  1. Log in to the Imagine Math suite.
  2. If you are a School Administrator or Teacher, click Management > Classrooms in the left navigation pane.

     Note

    District Administrators: Click Management > Schools in the left navigation pane, then click Classes for the applicable school. 

    Customer Administrators
    : Click Management > Organizations in the left navigation pane, click Schools for the applicable district, then click Classes for the applicable school. 

  3. Locate the class, then click Current Students.

  4. To deactivate one or more currently active student accounts:
    • Click the checkbox next to each student account you want to deactivate, then click Deactivate.

    • Click Deactivate in the confirmation window.

      The student is removed from the Active Students list.
  5. To activate one or more currently deactivated student accounts:
    •  Click Inactive Students in the list to display the list of inactive students.

    • Click the checkbox next to each student account you want to activate, then click Activate.

    • You are requested to wait while the student is activated.
    • Once the "Please wait" message disappears, click Close.

      The student is removed from the Inactive Students list.
