Allowing or restricting student account creation by teachers in Imagine Math PreK-2

As a District Administrator, you can prevent teachers from creating student accounts for all schools in your district. This feature is handy if a Student Information System (SIS) is used to manage educators, students and classes for all schools in your district.

To allow or prevent the creation of student accounts by teachers

  1. Log in to the Math portal.
  2. Click District Settings under Quick Links on your dashboard.

  3. Check or uncheck Allow teachers to create student accounts, as appropriate, then click Save.
    Unchecked -- prevents teachers from creating student accounts.
    Checked -- allows teachers to create student accounts.

  4. Log into Imagine Math as a teacher and attempt to create a new student, to validate your change.
