Reviewing student results from the Placement Test or Benchmark Test

After your students have completed the Placement Test or Benchmark Test, you can review their results. Administrators can review test results for any student in their school or district. Educators can review test results for any students that are assigned to them. If you are unsure if a student has completed either assessment you are able to check student testing status from your dashboard.

You can view the Placement Test and Benchmark Test results at the same time from the same view. Students are required to take either the Placement Test or the Beginning-of-Year Benchmark Test. The Placement Test places students initially, while the Benchmark Test refines the placement of existing students and establishes a baseline to measure student growth. By comparing students' Placement Test or Benchmark Test scores over time, Imagine Language & Literacy shows student growth throughout the school year.

New Imagine Learning students take the Placement Test the first time they log in to Imagine Language & Literacy. Returning Imagine Learning students (students who have at least a year of usage in Imagine Language & Literacy already) take the Benchmark Test the first time they log in to Imagine Language & Literacy. Students who take the Placement Test do not take the Beginning-of-Year Benchmark Test and vice versa.
